It is with heavy hearts that we share that Weston Dean Kyser passed away on June 12, 2026, surrounded by his family and wrapped in love. Weston, affectionately known as "Blueberry Boy," touched the lives of countless people throughout his courageous battle with Krabbe Disease and inspired a community of supporters known as Weston's Warriors.
Our thoughts and deepest condolences go out to Andrea, Nicholas, Lexie, Madison, and the entire Kyser family during this difficult time. No words can truly ease a loss like this, but we hope they find comfort in the incredible outpouring of love and support that has surrounded Weston and his family throughout his journey.
For those who would like to continue honoring Weston's memory and supporting the family, we encourage you to attend Wes Fest on July 18. The event is an opportunity for the community to come together, celebrate Weston's life, and show the family they are not alone.
Thank you to everyone who has followed Weston's story, offered prayers, shared encouragement, donated, or simply kept the family in their thoughts. Community is at its best when it shows up for one another, and this family has felt that support every step of the way.
Please keep the Kyser family in your thoughts in the days and weeks ahead. ❤️
